(Starting to) Catch-Up

Last week I wrestled 3 containers into the greenhouse and planted lettuce (Winter Density), Asian greens (Tatsoi, Mei Qing Choi), radishes (French Breakfast, Cherrybelle, Rudolf), spinach (America, Renegade), and beets (Edmund's Blood Turnip, Cylindra, Touchstone Gold). Outside are 2 more containers, with a mix of peas in both. One container is a washtub like those in the greenhouse, but it's sitting next to the gardening shed. It has in it British Wonder, Oregon Sugar Pod II, and Dwarf Grey Sugar peas. The other is the blue tub that held a cherry tomato plant last year and is sitting next to the front greenhouse door. It has Tom Thumb and... Dwarf Grey? I'll have to double check that one.
Look what happened on the first day of spring!! I actually took this one this afternoon,
but they first appeared yesterday. The radishes and the Mei Qing Choi have the speediest
germination happening.
( More Green Stuff! )
Still on the catch-up posts list: 2 book reviews, the local farmer's market/csa meeting, and what happens when you leave an industrious beagle unsupervised.
