I've green (snap) beans on the brain lately, since I'm picking and processing (pressure canning) them every other day at this point, but there are plenty of other things going on, just mostly without my input!

The oldest Fairytale pumpkin, just waiting for Cinderella...

And amusing itself by growing everywhere in the process. Here it's past the corn and moving in on the lettuce.

Cucumbers! I have several that should probably be picked tomorrow. I've been holding off, hoping to have a enough ready at the same time for pickle making purposes.

Some of the melons are putting on their netting.

Meanwhile, the watermelons are taking their cue from the pumpkins and branching out.

There are six watermelons in this picture, mostly Sugar Baby. Ya know, I was fully prepared for last year's watermelon/melon failure to happen again this year...

Instead, I may be selling them.

A good Moon & Stars specimen - the little spots are the 'stars', while the big spots are the 'moons'.

The peppers aren't letting a lack of height stop them.

I hate this part of the tomato season - waiting! It'll be a good two weeks before I'm picking these, I bet.

At least these ones are ready.

The Ring of Fire sunflowers just started to open up today.

There's over half a dozen flower heads on each plant, so I'm looking forward to seeing more of these in bloom.
