I absolutely adore my little red point-and-shoot, I really do. Nikon Coolpix L18 on screen #2 and still going strong. :)
(The DSLR still being very much in the learning phase, it's awful nice to be able to grab the wee one, take it outside, and just take pictures.)

The tomatoes appeared today! Pale, wan little things right after being uncovered.

Outside, the peas in the first container are enjoying the weather from their sheltered spot. It's supposed to be warm(-ish) today and tomorrow - or at least not in the low 20s - but with heavy rain and strong winds. I clipped up the front of the plastic to the top of the stakes so they were staying cool and had plenty of air flow, but still with a roof over their heads.

Directly to the side of it however...

(If they were going to nibble on the pea sprouts, they probably would have already? I'm guessing the plastic made it nice as a somewhat sheltered entrance area.)

The state of affairs over at the second pea container is improving. It received the same clip-up-the-plastic treatment.

Anyone who doesn't like vegetables obviously hasn't grown them. I ♥ PEAS

In the greenhouse, the surviving radish sprouts are getting big and the Mei Qing Choi is downright chipper. The Tatsoi has even decided to join in the fun.

Future noms. Look at those wee little true leaves!

Radishes, hanging tough.

In the third container, things are also looking like a nice, colorful collection.
Beets! The, uh, ones in the middle row. The reddish ones. Whichever kind those are. *checks other photos* Cylindra!

Meanwhile, the photography assistant had decided he was in danger of blowing away and was ready to go inside. (He's the one tri-color. River was inside digesting her dinner and staying warm.)
